MLA congratulates our newest draftee, Texas A&M's, Tyra White for her selection in the 2012 WNBA Draft, by the Los Angeles Sparks franchise.  Nicknamed the Silent Assassin,  Tyra was selected First-team All-Big 12 and WBCA All-Region.  Tyra was also selected Honorable Mention, All-American by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and also named an AP Honorable Mention, All-American.  The Kansas City native last season helped lead the Aggies to the National Championship and was selected as a member of NCAA Final Four All-tournament team.  For her career, White recorded 1,600 points, 600 rebounds, and 400 steals.  Congratulations Tyra on a magnificent career!  We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship. … [Read More...]
